Almanac. Peach Sournova
What a delight this sour ale is from Almanac Beer Co. It’s more than a sour, it’s a barrel-aged super sour! The Peach Sournova is naturally conditioned and aged for months which is a different process compared to most sours that are kettel soured (soured in the kettel after the wort has cooled). With this process you get a beautifully soured and more complex tasting ale. Add the woody notes from the barrel-aging and pounds of fresh peaches and you end up with a tart, peachy and oaky brew with a touch of vanilla. A super delicious and Unique Brew craft beer.
5.8% ABV | Alameda, CA
Description from the brewery:
This naturally conditioned, mixed-culture sour ale was aged for months with thousands of pounds of sustainably farmed, California peaches. This bright, tart, and super fruity space juice is out-of-this-world tasty.
