Crux. Bubble Wrap

Aug 1, 2020 | IPA, Solid Pick

POP POP BANG!

Talk about a solid brew! Bubble Wrap by Crux Fermentation Project is a slightly different take on the ever so popular hazy NEIPA. The addition of flaked oats which are often used in stouts, adds a silkiness and rather than using hop pellets, Crux favored whole hops instead.

The result is a hazy golden craft beer with typical tropical fruit aromas of grapefruit, pineapple and mango. The flavors follow suite with more tropical fruit notes balanced with the grains and ending with a mild bitterness. Wondefully moreish, this brew blurs the lines between hazy IPA and a west coast style. Whether it’s the hop profile or grain bill, this craft beer has just a little something extra that makes it worth checking out. A Solid Pick craft beer.

Description from the brewery:

In pursuit of the next great Hazy IPA, safety is not guaranteed. To craft this highly drinkable adaptation of the style, we evaded all the murky, mysterious gimmicks in favor of a balanced body of flaked oats and wheat accompanied by whole leaf Citra, Mosaic, and Galaxy hops popping with juicy, tropical flavors. Dangerously delicious, this hazy drinks clean and keeps you coming back for more.
