Hop Concept. Dank and Sticky
MOVE OVER PLINY!
Dank and sticky by name, dank and sticky by nature! The Hop Concept’s inaugural beer packs in seven types of hops to create a raw but killer IPA.
Expectedly this brew greets you with copious amounts of tropical citrus and pine aromas. However a boat load of peach, melon and nectarines also wallops the senses making you eager for a sip. The flavor follows the nose with citrus peel, grapefruit, pine, mango and a dank earthiness. All this is balanced with a subtle sweet malt backbone with an alcohol kick that doesn’t come on too strong. This is definitely worthy of a Must Try, whether you are an IPA fan or not.
8.5% ABV | San Marcos, CA
Description from the brewery:
Our inaugural release boasts aromas of citrus, and dank, resinous pine. As the flavor opens, huge notes of stonefruit and dank resin give way to a juicy malt backbone and drying hop bitterness on the finish.
