Omnipollo. Double Moa

Jun 14, 2020 | Fruit & Veg, Must Try, Sours

Omnipollo is a craft brewery from Sweden where they have a huge huge following. However, they occasionally brew beer in the states and their Double Moa is one of those craft beers. Brewed at Two Roads Brewing Company in Connecticut, it‘s a lemon curd sour ale and man is it good! Beautifully tart and zesty aromas with a slight sweetness make it smell just like lemon curd. The flavor is packed with lemons and puckering, but smooth and creamy in mouthfeel as it is also brewed with lactose. A Must Try craft beer if you love sours.

6.0% ABV  |  Brewed in Stratford, CT

Description from the brewery:

10 years since I met the love of my life. I’m still trying to convince her to like beer. Moa lemon curd sour is an attempt to piece together the different elements that have ranked favourably through deep study of her facial expressions as she’s tried our beers over almost a decade. Spread craft, spread love, spread lemon curd. Double Moa is a double version of Moa with higher ABV and brewed in the USA.

Bolero Snort. Ragin’ Bull

RAGIN' GOOD! The humble amber ale. A staple beer that often gets overlooked by the hop bombs and puckering brews. This beer style is often standard fare, brewed to cater for less adventurous drinkers. But in this style lies the beauty of a beverage that is hard to...
