Oskar Blues. Death By King Cake
MAD BAKING SKILLS!
It looks like Oskar Blues have let some mad bakers into their brew house! Their Death by King Cake craft beer is a white porter that packs in all sorts of delicious ingredients often found in a bakers kitchen.
Inspired by the Mardi Gras treat this brew pours a golden blonde with aromas of vanilla, orange and cinnamon leading the way. The flavor has a malty sweet backbone with notes of orange and vanilla. Subtle nutty and chocolate tones come through in the background. It drinks like a cream ale but as it warms more pronounced flavors start to develop. It’s definitely a craft beer to try if you like sweeter, malt forward ales and want something a little more adventurous. So treat yourself to this Unique Brew dessert in a can!
